San Francisco, CA – The 11th Annual Vincenzo Wine & Food Festival returns to the magnificent courtyard of St. Vincent’s School for Boys in San Rafael on Sunday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m. The always-spectacular fundraiser and auction benefits at-risk Bay Area youth.

Now in its eleventh season of raising vital funds and community awareness for St. Vincent’s School for Boys, Vincenzo Wine & Food Festival will once again offer the opportunity to savor a dazzling array of California’s finest cuisine and wines while mingling with restaurateurs, winemakers, gourmands and oenophiles.

The beautiful grounds of St. Vincent’s will be transformed into an Italian-style trattoria for an enchanting afternoon complete with exclusive tastings from premier wineries and superb restaurants such as Spottswoode Estate Vineyard and Winery, Oakville Ranch Vineyards, Roederer Estate, J.P. Harbison Wines, Aidelle’s Sausage Company, Dominus Estate, and WildFox / Scrumptious Catering.

This year’s silent and live auctions, led by renowned charity wine auctioneer David Reynolds, will showcase rare wines, exclusive new Napa Valley wines in rare, large-format bottles, as well as exclusive dining and travel packages. The unique auction lots showcased at this year’s fundraiser include a 6L bottle of 2005 etched Grace Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, a 6L bottle of etched Grace Family Vineyards Blank Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, a 3L bottle of 2003 Oakville Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon, a case of 2004 LaTour Vineyards Syrah, a private tasting and tour for eight at Clos Pegase Estate Winery, a one week stay at the full-service Intrawest Resort outside of Ixtapa, Mexico, a 7 day getaway to Acapulco at the beachfront Fairmont Heritage Place, a Vincenzo Outdoor Cinema dinner for 30 of your best friends in the St. Vincent’s Courtyard, and a 3 night stay at the Oriental Hotel in Bangkok.

“Vincenzo is vital to St Vincent’s as all money raised directly supports the basic needs of these boys, all of whom are struggling with the effects of severe abuse,” said St. Vincent School for Boys’ Director Kent Eagleson.

Tickets to the Vincenzo Wine & Food Festival are $125 each. For tickets and information about sponsorships, tasting booth availability and donations, please call 415.972.1233 or visit the Vincenzo website at www.vincenzo.org.

St. Vincent’s School for Boys is a licensed, residential treatment home for at-risk boys ages 7 to 17. Found in 1855 to house, clothe, feed, educate and care for the orphans of California’s Gold Rush, St. Vincent’s School for Boys is one of the oldest institutions dedicated exclusively to the care of boys. Boys are provided 24-hour care and mental health services. Serving over 25 California counties, St. Vincent’s is the only Northern California treatment center that offers a Therapeutic Equestrian Program, allowing boys at St. Vincent’s to engage in a remarkably effective form of recreational therapy.
