We invite prospective members of our community to schedule a site visit with the Children’s Village Enrollment Coordinator. During this visit, families receive a tour, are introduced to staff, and are encouraged to ask questions.

The next step is the completion of the Family Application. You may fill out this one-page form as part of your site visit. The date you submit your Familiy Application is signifacant to your place on our waiting list. We require a non-refundable $50 application fee accompany the Family Application. An assesment of waiting list placement will be made and communicated once your family application has been eveluated.

Families will be enrolled from the waiting list as space becomes available according to the “Waiting List Priorities” listed below. Children who have special needs or challenges will be accepted if it is determined that the Village is able to meet their individual needs and those of the other children in the classroom. When a start date is determined families will be asked to complete an enrollment package and meet with their child’s Head Teacher for Program Orientation.

Each child admitted must be determined to be ready for and able to benefit from the type of group experience the Village has to offer. During the first 30 days, staff and parents will decide whether or not the Village is well suited for the newly enrolled child. The Program Director and Head Teacher will keep in close contact with the parent should there be any concerns.

Waiting List Priorities
1) Children from families struggling with Homelessness
2) Children in the care of Child Protective Services
3) Siblings of children already enrolled
4) Children with disabilities. (Up to 10% enrolled.)
5) Children from low-income families. (Up to 53% enrolled.)
6) For two or more families of equal priority, first-come first-serve enrollment.
