Information Collection

Here are the types of donor information that we collect and maintain:
• Contact information: name, complete address, phone number, email address, family relationships;
• Donation information: payment process (EFT, CC), credit card number and expiration date, and maintenance of giving history;
• Information concerning how you heard about Catholic Charities CYO;
• Information you wish to share: comments, suggestions; and
• your requests to receive periodic updates: e.g. to individuals who are contributors who have not requested to be removed from the mailing list, we send specific fundraising appeals and periodic e-mails, newsletters, and other mailings related to programs and services.

How Information is Used

Catholic Charities CYO uses your information to understand your needs and interests and to provide you with better service. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a donation transaction, communicate back to you, and update you on our social services and youth development programs. Credit card numbers are used only for donation or payment processing and are not retained for other purposes. We use the comments you offer to provide you with information requested and we take seriously each recommendation as to how we might improve communication.

This Web site collects your email address for the purpose of sending donation confirmations, program information, and other program and event-related communications. Catholic Charities CYO will not disclose, sell, trade, rent, or otherwise reveal your email address to any entity other than to Catholic Charities CYO which receives your payment.
