Musician/Band
Leland House is seeking a volunteer musician or band to entertain the residents during special events and holidays. Holiday events are an especially wonderful time to have music at the program. Please share your talent with us!
Time Commitment Varies per events; possibly a few hours on day of event between 11:00 am and no later than 7:00 pm. Program is very flexible!

Haircutter
Leland House could use your styling talent! Residents would appreciate haircuts at the program, since some of them are not able to leave the facility.

Sunday Potluck Contributor
Volunteers are invited to contribute food, company and conversation at a weekly Sunday potluck brunch. Volunteers are asked to bring one homemade dish to serve 4-6 residents. Volunteers may bring a dish of their choosing or they may prepare a recipe requested by one of our residents. A few of our residents are vegetarian and would enjoy vegetarian dishes, though most of our residents eat meat and have few, if any, dietary restrictions.
Time Commitment Once a month or as frequently as a once a week on Sundays from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.

Game Night Organizer
Volunteers are needed to organize a game night for our adult residents. Volunteers would be responsible for choosing a fun game, encouraging participation, creating an entertaining atmosphere.
Time Commitment Once a month or as frequently as a once a week, after 6:30 pm on any night of the week, for about 1 hour.

Movie Night Organizer
Volunteers are needed to organize a movie night for our adult residents. Volunteers would be responsible for choosing an appropriate movie (with resident input) from our Netflix subscription, setting up the community room for a movie, encouraging resident participation, and distributing some snacks that we will provide.
Time Commitment Once a month or as frequently as a once a week, after 6:30 pm on any night of the week, for about 2 hours.
