Volunteer: Children's Programs

Volunteer Job Description:   Teacher's assistant volunteers are needed to work with young children on various classroom activities. Volunteers will also spend time playing outside with children and helping them with various classroom projects.
Time Commitment:   Ideally once a week from 3pm-6pm
Location:   Children's Village 250 10th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103


Volunteer Job Description:   Kid's Club Volunteers needed to work with at-risk youth ages 6-11 in an after school program. Assist staff in providing homework support and play with children during enrichment activities. Volunteers would also provide one-on-one tutoring and group homework help.
Time Commitment:   Ideally once a week from 2:30pm-5:00pm
Location:   Canal Family Support Program 50 Canal Street, San Rafael, CA 94901


Volunteer Job Description:   Assist children in one of our HIV/AIDS programs with an open art class by painting or drawing with them and engaging them in the activity.
Time Commitment:   Ideally twice a month for an hour but the program is flexible (Open Art Program Hours: 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 5-6pm)

Volunteer Job Description:   Tutor program volunteers are needed to work with at-risk youth ages 5-12 in an after school tutor program. Assist staff in providing homework support, one-on-one tutoring and group homework help.
Time Commitment:   Ideally once a week from 2:30pm-5:30pm
Location:   Mission Day Care 180 Fair Oaks San Francisco, CA 94110
